Following the highly successful launch of Alexander Kraft Monte Carlo’s sartorial men’s line, many of Alexander Kraft’s female followers asked him to create ladies’ versions of his most iconic gentlemen’s garments.
Alexander Kraft rose to the challenge and – after a year of intensive work behind the scenes – is now unveiling the first pieces of his new women’s line. One of the very first garments to be released is a ladies’ version of the now emblematic tweed jacket that Kraft launched in his debut collection.
Using a lighter wool and a half-lining, this jacket is surprisingly soft and perfectly suited for around-the-year wear. High-end sartorial features include working buttonholes, angled pockets and perfect pattern matching as found in the men’s line. The ladies’ jacket’s nuanced Savile Row-inspired cut is based on the men’s model but has been skillfully adjusted for a woman’s physique. It now combines a strong masculine silhouette with feminine softness, making it the perfect garment for today’s strong women that Alexander Kraft is delighted to design for !
