AK MC Handmade Belgian Loafers in Caramel Calf Leather

However, in Alexander Kraft’s not inconsiderable experience, many Belgian loafers have two major weaknesses: Very often, they are cut in a very open, low manner, making them rather flimsy in appearance and giving them a very casual character. Secondly, their construction is usually less than solid, featuring often a very basic production process and/or cemented (instead of stitched) soles.

In creating his perfect pair of Belgian loafers, Alexander Kraft addressed these two points by designing a bespoke, slightly more closed, elongated shape that adds a touch of masculinity to this particular model. In addition, the Alexander Kraft Monte Carlo Belgian loafers are hand-made by a small, artisanal cobbler in Portugal, and feature Blake-stitched leather soles of the highest quality. The material chosen is a precious caramel – colored calf leather that has been hand-burnished with darker accents. Other details include the traditional bow of Belgian Loafers.
