The AK MC Gurkha trousers by Alexander Kraft Monte Carlo beautifully merge the timeless appeal of classic Gurkha trousers with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. Inspired by the traditional trousers once worn by Nepalese infantry serving in the British army, these trousers maintain the signature high waist and distinctive waistband. Kraft’s interpretation, however, introduces a clean, flat front inspired by our  popular Riviera model, with a subtly widened waistband and elongated front buckle, creating a refined, modern look that’s easy to wear.

Crafted from premium Italian-woven moleskin, these trousers combine durability with exceptional comfort, making them ideal for the cooler seasons from autumn through early spring. The fabric’s soft yet substantial texture sets it apart from traditional, stiffer varieties, enabling these trousers to transition effortlessly between country and city settings. The elegant khaki shade, a term derived from the Hindi and Urdu word khākī meaning “dust-coloured”. This versatile tone pairs well with navy, beige, and camel, offering endless styling possibilities. All AK MC trousers have a slim, but not skinny, bespoke-inspired silhouette with a higher rise and tapered leg. They are thoughtfully supplied with an unfinished hem to be custom tailored with enough cloth for a 4cm cuff.
