AK MC Signature Barchetta jacket in super 120s wool navy

The Modern business jacket. A plain weave dark navy lightweight wool worsted in a superfine 120s woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico has been cut on the Signature Barchetta model for a contemporary take on formal tailoring.
The bespoke tailoring – inspired, Signature cut of Alexander Kraft Monte Carlo boasts a medium width notch lapel, Southern Italian Barchetta-shaped patch pockets (inspired by Neapolitan bespoke tailoring) and side vents. The Savile Row – inspired silhouette combines a strikingly elegant appearance with maximum comfort thanks to high armholes, roped shoulders, a delicately shaped chest and a nipped-in waist. Other bespoke touches include real horn buttons, working cuffs and a flower loop (a silk thread attached on the underside of the lapel to accommodate a boutonniere). The jacket features a half-canvas construction with a partial lining for a perfect combination of artisanship, lightness and comfort.
This jacket has been designed to be worn with the matching contemporary Gurkha trousers and there is also a double-breasted waistcoat in the same cloth available should you need to increase the formality. However, like all AK MC tailoring the jacket works with a wide range of pieces from jeans to cream linen trousers.
