AK MC brown wool herringbone signature jacket with alcantara trim

As winter approaches, we look to update our wardrobes with the colours of the new season. Woven in Italy exclusively for Alexander Kraft Monte Carlo, this sublime cloth has been woven by of the finest lambswool to create a medium-weight textile that is ideal for cool winter days. The subtle herringbone weave adds visual interest with a melange of brown and beige with rich caramel tones.

Cut on our Signature house model it boasts a medium width notch lapel, side vents, slanted side pockets as well as a ticket pocket in the style of a classic hacking jacket. The sleeves have classic elbow patches realised in Alcantara which is thoughtfully matched on the underside of the collar. Alcantara is a premium man-made textile that is used to upholster many luxury automobiles as it has the softness and lustre of suede but the advantage of not requiring specialist care. The jacket has been only partially lined for maximum comfort by allowing the cotton to breath.

The silhouette has been informed by the bespoke tradition and has a close fitting, lightly shaped chest and a nipped-in waist. Other bespoke touches include the real horn branded buttons, working sleeve cuffs and the silk thread attached on the underside of the lapel to accommodate your boutonniere.

The jacket has been thoughtfully designed to complement a wide-range of trousers from ecru cotton Gurkhas, denim jeans or grey flannels.
