AK MC Kraftoni Black Velvet Albert Slipper

The velvet slipper, once constrained to formality, is now benefiting from its new guise as an adaptable shoe. This is not deviating it from being the preserve of courtly figures in velvet smoking jackets, but thanks to a select faction of adept sartorial designers, it flourishes in the ballroom and provides comfort while imbibing a glass of Kraftoni in the salon on either afternoon or more nocturnal occasions. To achieve this flexibility, Alexander Kraft has thoughtfully created a pair with a sturdier Blake-stitched leather sole. Hand-constructed in Portugal at a small family-owned atelier, they are adorned with an embroidered design representing three of Mr. Kraft’s great passions—Negronis, cigars, and his beloved late Parson Jack Russell Terrier Bertie.
